Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee

The Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee is the official governing body of Baltimore County Democratic Party. Most of its members are elected every four years in the Democratic primary elections by the voters. Currently, five elected members from each councilmanic district were chosen in this manner. At-large members are appointed in order to gender balance the committee, in accordance with Democratic Party rules and the Constitution of The Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee. The President of the Baltimore County Young Democrats is also a member of the committee.
