At Large Central Committee Position  

In order to meet gender balance guidelines laid out by the Maryland Democratic Party, the Baltimore County Democratic State Central Committee (BCDSCC), currently made-up of men (17) and women (18) elected in gubernatorial Democratic primary elections from legislative districts, wholly (6, 8, 10, 11, 42) or partially (5B, 7, 12A), located within the boundaries of Baltimore County, is soliciting a male registered Democrat residing in Baltimore County to serve as an at-large member of the BCDSCC. Interested candidates should submit an application consisting of a cover letter and resume by Friday, February 1, 2008 by mail (P.O. Applicants will be interviewed by the Executive Board of the BCDSCC on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at 7 PM at the offices of the Teachers Association of Baltimore County (TABCO), 305 E. Joppa Road, Towson, MD 21286-3252, who will recommend one or more candidates to the entire BCDSCC, who in turn shall vote to fill the position at their regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 7 PM at the East Towson Carver Center, 300 Lennox Avenue, Towson, MD 21286-5309.
